Biography

I completed my first OLY distance triathlon in June 1986 at the age of 25, and continued to train and race for the next 5 years, including 3 marathons. Back then there weren't many opportunities to do Ironman. Kids, career, and maybe a little burnout reduced my workouts to the gym mostly. I stayed in pretty good shape throughout the years, and in 2008 with kids grown and a flexible work schedule I decided to triathlon again, this time with Ironman in mind. In 2010, the year I'll turn 50, I will complete my dream of being an Ironman.
