I raced my first triathlon on August 8, 2009, 2 days after my 40th birthday. I raced my second triathlon on August 30, 2009 after having a blast on the first. In April 2008, I was sedentary and weighed in at about 267lbs @ 5' 8". Today I am under 175 and getting fitter. Fitness and nutrition are becoming a lifestyle. I'm happier. I sleep better. I feel better. My short term goals are now to race two half marathons this fall and the Jacksonville Bank Marathon in December. I'm also an avid photographer.
