A little backgroud on me might be helpful. I started playing soccer when I was 12 and played until about half way through my junior year of college. I decided that enough was enough because I worked my butt off every year and in the off season and still didnt get playing time. I started to focus more on triathlon at that point and have never looked back.
I was never a big runner, had never swam in my life and biking was just how I got back and forth to class. Since then, I have put on more miles on my feet and pedals than I can count (I have excel do that for me!) and currently am the proud owner of 5 bikes. And yes, they all have a purpose and get used frequently. The one with the most miles is an older Cannondale outfitted with a rear rack and Profile Design Jammer aerobars. Its my super commuting bike and it takes me 3 days a week, 17 miles there and 17 back.
I currently live in St.Paul with my wife and our 2 critters: little yorkie-maltese and a our now full grown, crazy wild, Husky. I also enjoy playing frisbee golf, reading, working on the house and tinkering with my many bikes.
