blue seventy is introducing their new skin suit here in Kona. Several athletes will be using the pointzero3 suit including; Mitch Anderson, Normann Stadler, Heather Gollnick, Bryan Rhodes, Desiree Ficker, Karen Smyers, and several other pros and age groupers.
According to blue seventy, the fabric is similar to wetsuit neoprene but is ultra thin (0.3mm) and compressed so it's got no buoyancy. Made from crushed rubber. It's got a very low coefficient of drag so it slips through the water. It's over 50 times more slick than skin and 4 times more slippery than the other swim skins on the market. So for those events where wetsuits are not allowed, the pointzero3 will give you a bit of an edge.
