Jono Rumbelow, our ironguides coach in South Africa, got to test 7 pairs of barefoot running shoes recently. Here's what he found:

Kona-legal / WTC-legal Speedsuits Hit the Market

With the Ironman World Championship less than a month away, athletes are laying out their race gear and checking it twice. Since the swim comes first, we thought we’d let you in on what we have heard is out there. The World Triathlon Corporation recently changed the rules on speedsuits so manufacturers are looking for the fastest out there. The Wrench Does Not Fix the Machine

There are interesting new tools designed to aid the bike fitting process. Some incorporate dynamic motion sensing and capture technology. That’s right.

Equipment Choices for Beginners: Cheaper Could Well be Faster

What works for elite triathletes isn’t necessarily the fastest option for a first-timer or beginner – often you may even go slower if you pick a piece of equipment that was designed to go extremely fast.

Electronic Bike Shifting

The evolution of the bicycle shifting continues. Shimano now has its new electronic Dura Ace Di2 gruppo. Sure there have been other companies that have tried to master this but I think Shimano is on to something with this one.
