Need advice on IM training plan

OK, Here is the dilemma.
I was injured in January and that prevented me from starting to train using the trifuel training program. I have used this for my other 3 IM races and have some comparisons on where I am at in training vs previous years.....I am 7 weeks behind the program. I am in week 12 of the preseason and my race is August 19th( mt tremblant).

Weekend Ride/Run 1 & 2 weeks out from IM Race?

I am curious to know what your Saturday/Sunday workouts are 1 and 2 weeks out from the Ironman race...those of you who have a few Ironman's under your belt.

Ironman Training Program Question re: weekend workouts

I am using the 36 week ironman training program on the website.

Is it typical to have the brick workout on Saturday's for a Sunday race?

Thanks!

Paradigm shift in IM training

So I'm training for my first IM this year, and after some research on training plans, exploring the option of hiring a coach, and feedback from the forum here, I decided to go it alone and use the 36 week plan here on Trifuel. Oh, and I also went to a local college and had a cardio fitness assessment and have a new set numbers (HR, LT, VO2 max) from which to guide my training. So I'm basically in week 2 of my plan performing base type workouts.

How many of you have used a paid coach?

I've read posts from other Trifuelers about coaches being a good investment and to hire one if you can, but curious as to how many of you have used a coach. I'm in the process of deciding whether to hire one or not.

***nyfan21****re: 36-week program

Hey there,

I am doing the program as well and wondered if we could share experiences. I am on week 8. I strained my calf before the holidays and between that and gym closures and travel, it has been a challenge lately to follow it exactly.

How are you doing on it?

The Endurance Nation "Four Keys" To Ironman Execution

I'm flying home from IMFL, the last Ironman of the 2007 season, and the end of a long season of Ironman coaching, speaking, clinic-ing and spectating. I'd like to take this time to deliver to you, one last time, the end-all, be-all of how you should race Ironman.
