by Tribro on April 25th, 2008
Decided to keep a sticky thread of the Trifuel basics as reminders to current members and a starting thread for new users joining us. I'll keep it brief and add periodically. Don't forget to check out our guides. - The Gear - find the right gear for you and what fellow Trifuelers are using.

Ironman Support/Fan Question

by jrs961 on November 19th, 2009
My parents are about to race in their first Ironman. I am signed up to volunteer, and plan to be their sherpa... Any advice or thoughts on how to make their life better? Anything anyone did for you either during or after your Ironman race that made the event more special? Ideas are appreciated! Thanks!

Training

by tri_newbie23 on November 19th, 2009
Ok So I decided I am going to train this winter for a olympic Tri in May. I also want to do a half marathon the week before the tri. Is this a bad thing or a good thing? Is it bad to train for both a tri and a marathon?

Volunteer Advice

by jenez_world on November 19th, 2009
I am to be a volunteer at the Ironman Western Australia (Busselton) - in transition for the swim to bike leg. I am new at sprint triathlons (about 10) and other than watching Ironman events on TV I have never been to a live event. I was a Bike Marshall at the World LD and the main requirement was cheering everyone on which I think I achieved :). the journey is the reward

Cross Training?

by TriAu on November 17th, 2009
Hopefully this does not qualify for the 'dead horse' forum, but I will post anyway. Seeing how it is the 'off season' does anyone do anything to mix up their training? WAR EAGLE!

I have created a fitness show called CFAtv which promotes endurance sports, strength and conditioning, health and lifestyle. It is a very motivating and informative show. Paul Lieto suggested I post a link for the trifuel community. Here is the link: www.justintrain.com/cfatv.html If you have any suggestions or ideas for the show, please let me know.
