KING, ANDERSON WIN XTERRA TRAIL RUNNING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Ka'a'awa, HI – Max King, 28, from Bend, Oregon and Cynthia Anderson, 25, from Kailua, Hawaii won the inaugural XTERRA Trail Running World Championship half-marathon at Kualoa Ranch this morning.

More than 800 runners from 32 states and eight countries participated in the 5, 10, and 21km events.

XTERRA WINTER HEADED TO EUROPE
Former XTERRA World Champ and two-time ITU Winter Triathlon World Champ Nicolas Lebrun will serve as the race director for the inaugural XTERRA Winter European Championship to be held January 17 in Chabanon, France.

Styled after the first-of-its-kind XTERRA Winter Worlds format that debuted in Utah this March, the race will combine a 10km mountain bike with 5km trail run, 5km snowshoe, and 8km mountaineering segments.
