Good lil' article written by Pro Tenille Hoogland

Hey All,

Tenille Hoogland finished 4th pro (woman) in yesterday's Eagleman 70.3. She wrote a short simple little article on "Balance" that might help out some folks.

Granted she doesn't have a full-time non-triathlon job and 3 kids, but you may find your own golden nugget in there.

Happy Training ALL !!!!

New 2011 Racing Series - North East USA

We are introducing a new form of endurance races. Our concept is to layout a series of races courses that athletes run on their own, on the day of their choice. The athletes then submit their results to a database at www.ViralRacing.com where they are ranked for their Race. Athletes that submit GPS substantiation for their performance get ranked ahead of non-substantiated submissions. http://ViralRacing.com

Cleat Position

Just wondering if anybody knows if theres is a best position for the cleat on cycling shoes? Is there a difference between triathlon and road cycling? I've heard many things. Where do you have yours?

OWS Training Device

Hey all, just wanted to get the word out about a new product that is just a few weeks away from being released. You ever go for an open water swim and get a little nervous because boats or jet skis go too close cause the couldn't see you? Well that happend to me a bunch of times last year while training for IMLP. So I came up with the product that will be coming out soon. Please take a moment to follow me on Twitter @GOATGear for more upcoming news.

Thanks and remember to GET OUT AND TRAIN.

Xterra

I'm thinking about doing my first Xterra. I'm a fairly seasoned triathlete in the normal sense, with maybe 15 or so races under my belt. I'm working with a lot of mountain cyclists who are well on their way into talking me into doing an xterra. Any advice from anyone who has done xterras or kinda knows whats going on? Anything different / new I need to think about? I have a very full race calendar for the year, but I'm pretty sure I can stuff one more tri in.
Thanks!
