Okay, I’ve been going back and forth over the last month and read pretty much every archived post on Trifuel pertaining to the topic and host of other articles scattered about the internet. I’m looking to buy a new bike in the next 2-3 months and would like to hear your opinions and experiences to help in my decision making process.

Hi all- Just wondering if anyone out there has any bike recommendations for an overweight beginner. I've tried a couple bikes out and did not feel comfortable with the support. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

Hi everyone, I am working in france for the summer, but I need to transport my bike from Boston to France in order to train for Timberman in August--> do you have any suggestions about transporting the bike? I hear it gets kind of expensive, and I don't know too much about assembling the bike back together...will the fit get messed up? Is there a cheap or easier way?

How often does everyone do home upkeep on their chain? I know you are "supposed" to lube the chain every 100 miles - but that seems like like the best case scenario. How long between maintenance is really reasonable, 500 miles? What can you get away with if you want to do the least amount of home maintenance yet still have a very well kept bike?

I just got in my brand spankin new time trial machine for next summer. So excited to race with it (and a little scared cause if i crash then im screwed!!)

Okay. So I am not a triathlete and am not familiar with tri bikes, however, I have a special someone that I am buying a tri bike for for Christmas. Can someone tell me the basics on what to look for, what he needs in a tri bike and any other info that may be helpful in my purchase. He has been training for about 3 or so years and has been using a regular road bike. He NEEDS a better bike!

ok so i know this topic is beat to hell like every month or so but i could use some advice here!!!

I'm looking to purchase my first Tri Bike so i can start training for next summer. I did some online browsing and found alot of Tri Bikes are over 1000 if not 2000 dollars. Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding where to look for a cheap, but still good Tri bike; preferably under $1000????

Anybody have any comments on Motobecane or Mercier bikes for a beginner? I did my first tri last summer on a mountain bike, so I am just looking for a cheap and reliable tri bike to start this year.
