I'm looking to purchase my first Tri Bike so i can start training for next summer. I did some online browsing and found alot of Tri Bikes are over 1000 if not 2000 dollars. Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding where to look for a cheap, but still good Tri bike; preferably under $1000????

Well, I spent almost my entire day off at the bike shop today. I must say, it would be awesome to work at such a high end shop. I spent the day getting fitted on 4 different bikes and riding them. (on the trainer as it was raining outside) I rode (kind of) a 2008 Orbea Ora (dura-ace special edition), 2007 Felt B2, 2008 Felt B12, and (of course) 2008 Cervelo P2C.

Running a 19 min 5k... got passed. The gentlemen was clappity clanking down the street. He smoked me still wearing his bike clip in shoes. I never saw him after the race, but I assume he just forgot to bring his running shoes and decided to just run it out. I imagine that couldn't be comfortable. For Sale: 2008 Trek TTX 9.5 Size: Medium Bike is completely stock and has 275 miles on it. Never been down or raced and only ridden for early season training rides.
