I have already searched on the Forum and read several opinions on the TI concept.

your experience with HRM watches
by mileni on July 25th, 2008
I am just a begginer in triathlon while have a certain experience with multisport training (ex rower, cycling, runing).
Have owned Polar HRM several years ago and now I'm looking for a single solution for:
running - foot pod, distance, speed,...
cycling - all features - cadence, speed, distance, ...
Burping when swimming-it's got to stop!
by mccnc on July 17th, 2008
Since I've started training for this tri I think I have either read, asked or just wondered to my self more strange body questions than in my entire life.
So....
When I'm swimming my longer distances (I'm up to a little over 1 mile)--I have to burp-a lot. I don't think it has to do with anything I'm eating before hand so I'm assuming it may have to do with how I'm breathing.
Swimming Hand Cramps
by 248-n8 on July 9th, 2008
Tonight I had my first OWS and it went really well once I got past the typical freak out situations and got into my rhythm but one thing happened that I was expecting. I was about 25 mins in and noticed my left hand started to feel tight like it was about to cramp.
Swim Coach in Philly
by PhillytriXxICExX on July 7th, 2008
Well I am a newbie to Triathlons having not done one yet, I have a few scheduled for next Summer and 2 months ago started training for them so I'm very excited. However I have noticed a ton of people in my area that are not comfortable with the swim leg of the race. I on the other hand need work on the run haha.
Best $10 that I have ever spent.

So I have been a little down with my training. I am targeting a fall Oly around October and have been trying to get up to speed with the swimming. My Brick bike and run I could do that portion tonight if needed. But back to the swim.
Heartrate While Swimming
by usasportstrain on March 21st, 2008
I've noticed that my heart rate tends to be much higher when swimming (for a similar level of effort) than cycling and running.
Perhaps it's an anxiety thing, since I've never developed a good level of comfort in the water.
The problem is that I think it handicaps me for the bike and run, as my heart rate doesn't come back down that much.
Your thoughts and experiences?

Quick pool swimming question
by Socket on March 21st, 2008
Since we're on the topic of swimming, anybody have simple instructions for doing that flippy-bounce-off-the-wall-turn-around maneuver? I keep having to stop, grab the wall, turn, and push and I'm a bit jealous of the old people in the lane next to me who can barely walk but look like olympians in the pool.
Foot pain while swimming?
by Socket on March 6th, 2008
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but for the past two weeks I've been getting a pain on the top of my left foot when I'm swimming. I really don't understand it because I get it when I don't point my toes and it goes away when I point them really hard.
Maybe a tendon or something is getting stuck? Haven't quite been able to reproduce the effect out of the pool. Anyone else ever experience this?
