I have been competing in triathlons for two years now -- mostly sprint distance events, and a few olympic. My typical training week consists of 1-3 miles of swimming, 30-70 miles on the bike, and 10-15 running. This combined with the other facets of my life, not the least of which is my two-year-old son, have me now feeling pretty worn out. J

Salt tab supplementation

I've had some problems with nutrition and am curious about trying a supplement like saltstick. I'm hoping it will lead to a breakthrough being able to digest gu and gel. Just concerned about too much. Does any one out there use saltstick or the like for day-to-day training and for race days?

Stomach Safe Racing Nutrition

I've been trying to find a "stomach safe" nutrition and calorie source for racing and long training sessions. Lately I've been using Hammer Nutrition's Heed (2 scoops) in a water bottle and gulp it down on the bike.
