Trifuel snapshot; Your First Stop

by Tribro on April 24th, 2008
Decided to keep a sticky thread of the Trifuel basics as reminders to current members and a starting thread for new users joining us. I'll keep it brief and add periodically. Don't forget to check out our guides. - The Gear - find the right gear for you and what fellow Trifuelers are using.

by Tribro on December 21st, 2007
o.k. so added some updates to forums (still working on search...) - BBCode is now supported, so all old posts with the "missing" photos are fixed so those photos should show now. - Quote link added to each comment. just click "quote" and it'll take you to comment form with that comment in quotes.

Some new features now launched since the backend transition... There is now a new Gear guide: (http://www.trifuel.com/gear) - This has comments, "I Use This", Reviews, and more to come. New "My Threads" (http://www.trifuel.com/forum/mine) - This displays all posts you have started or commented on. Should make it easier to follow discussions

Putting more than just text in your posts

by kylie on December 4th, 2007
A couple people have been asking about putting images, etc. into their posts. There is information on the supported HTML tags at the More information about formatting options link at the bottom of the text box as you enter a post. Miles of Life --- Powered by MarkyV

Wish list of things for the new forum

by cjhoffmn on December 4th, 2007
As we all adjust to the new forum, it seems that Paul has to collect thoughts about the new forum in lots of different threads. I thought it might be helpful to start one thread where we can all post ideas/observations/thoughts about things we might want to a.) have if available new or b.) have back if its not functioning in a way we appreciated from the prior system. To tri or not to tri - that's not a question at all!

Forum usage tip - Quotes

by Tribro on December 3rd, 2007
No automated way currently to quote someone. But you can copy and paste the text and put blockquote around it. So < blockquote > paste < / blockquote > (take out spaces in blockquote HTML tags) should look like this. This is a quote using blockquote tags

Forum usage tip - Comments in threads

by Tribro on December 3rd, 2007
There are comment option fields at the bottom of each thread. Set this and it will set it for all threads. There is also a "reply" link after each comment. Only use the reply link if you are replying to the specific comment. If you are commenting on the original thread use the form at the bottom. Otherwise it will thread it and not show as the latest comment.
