Cascade Lakes Relay RR

by Ironmom on August 4th, 2008
This is not a triathlon race report, but it's a fun kind of race that a lot of triathletes seem to enter. If you have a relay run in your area, I highly recommend giving it a go with a team, for the experience if nothing else. Blue Skies, -Robin- http://ironmom.blogspot.com/

Passed on the run by a person with Clip Ins on

by defro781 on June 8th, 2008
Running a 19 min 5k... got passed. The gentlemen was clappity clanking down the street. He smoked me still wearing his bike clip in shoes. I never saw him after the race, but I assume he just forgot to bring his running shoes and decided to just run it out. I imagine that couldn't be comfortable. Anyone ever run with clip in bike shoes on? What about barefoot? Brian Writer - The Endurance News Network - http://www.endurancenews.net

It's been a while since I made a post about this, not sure if its of interest anymore, but here goes just because: I've been seriously trying to learn how to use the Evolution Running style for the last 9 months or so. I think I've had some success in putting it all together, and seem to be making good progress now. To tri or not to tri - that's not a question at all!

New running buddy

by Triguy98 on January 3rd, 2008
We got a new rescue Border Collie! WE've had Skye, our black and white, for about 2 years, and she's been great. A little crazy, but great. Then we was Repeat on the adoption website. After meeting him, we couldn't say no, and got him last night. He's still not a year old, so he wont be going for runs with me for a while, but that's ok, cause it gives me some quality tiem with Skye! Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
