The good news: I used that neck cooler thingie and it worked really well. I stayed cool throughout the run even as the temperature climbed. The very good news: 6:39 swim split. Not too bad for early season! The bad news: slow bike split, I think due to too much commute/tandem biking last week. Quad cramps on the bike, which I've never ever experienced before.
