Masters Swim Class

by try2try on April 16th, 2009
If anyone out there is sitting on the fence about joining a Masters Swim Class. DO IT! I've been floundering up and down the pool for the last few months. I was very hesitant on joining partly because I'm not a morning person and partly because I didn't know what to expect. First Class was this morning!!!!!!

Bike Trainer Recommendations?

by TriSwimmerCRR on March 18th, 2009
I'm a newbie to cycling; I know that a trainer will be a wise investment to make. I'm looking to spend $200 or less. I've found some nice CycleOps trainers in my price range (eBay), but am clueless as to what model will meet my needs. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!

Runner w/Swim background needing serious tri advice

by davidmi24 on February 28th, 2009
I'm a runner who has been delaying serious tri-taining for years. Knee-surgery forced me into swimming and biking as I could not run. deciding to start slow, I'm now preparing for an olympic tri. by CMahlmann1983 on July 21st, 2008
I am a 24 year old guy named Chris. I used to be very athletic. I played soccer and I was on swim team from age 4 to 18. I also played basketball, and I've always been a skiier, a wakeboarder, so I'd always had a number of things going to keep me in shape. I've never been the type to go workout, but nevertheless, always remained active.

Wetsuit - to rent or not to rent?

by Tinparsnips on June 3rd, 2008
Hi all, I’m participating in my first 70.3 (Ironman Kansas), it will be my second tri. I am considering renting a wetsuit. I’m looking at wetsuitrentals.com. With shipping and active.com’s BS fees it’ll cost a little over 50 bucks. I guess I have three questions/thoughts:
