Motivational Quotes

My wife and I decided to turn our guest bedroom into a workout room. It's looking really nice with a trainer, Bowflex, a big high speed fan on the all, LCD TV/Monitor, and soft mats on the floor. I thought about decorating it with inspirational posters, but then I had the idea to write quotes on the walls.

I am coming in as part of the outreach program, a counseling sort of thing I suppose. They asked me to talk about the races that I’ve done, why I do strange things like triathlons etc and I reluctantly said yes.

I've competed in 7 triathlons over the course of the summer and am feeling totally burnt out. I still have one left on Sept. 6. My muscles feel fatigued and I'm struggling to find the motivation to keep training for the next week. Anyone have any great stuggestions to keep in it for the last couple weeks? I'm debating whether to do it or not at this point....

How to Spice up Your Training and Keep the Motivation High!

by Felipe Bastos on April 3rd, 2004
It is April already. Some of us have been training quite consistently since our season break from last year. By now, you have done over 3 serious month of base training, and with the weather still cold and gray, you might be feeling a little worn out and down. But you are not alone, as most people have a hard time training now for a race that is usually 6 months away.

Motivate Me?

by Matt Russ on November 18th, 2003
Motivation is something athletes are always seeking, but can be elusive to obtain. Motivation can put a lesser skilled athlete on the podium standing over his more gifted and talented peers. It is the life blood of training. Simply put motivation is how much an individual wants to achieve a goal, but sources of motivation can be as varied as athletes.
