K•Swiss athletes Chris Lieto and Luke McKenzie also garnered respective podium finishes in second and third place.

Patrick Vernay and Chrissie Wellington took the wins yesterday at Ironman Australia. Patrick repeats, and Chrissie wins her third Ironman in a year's time. Her only three Ironman at that, proving she is without a doubt a force to be reckoned with. Kate Major held the lead for a good portion of the race and finished second.
