IT band syndrome (ITBS). Probably the most common overuse injury in runners and, to a lesser extent, cyclists. There have been seemingly millions of posts on this particular injury, most of which offer a variety of guidance. I battled a crippling case of ITBS for no less than 6 months.

Compression solutions for ITBS

I know that there are folks out there who are currently suffering with ITBS, and many more that have in the past. Mine has lingered for many months, despite very patient recovery techniques (with the help of multiple PTs) and a VERY modest return to running. I've had no related pain on the bike or in the pool (as is the case with most who are afflicted).

I have been struggling with ITBS for quit a while now and am in Physical Therapy, but it doesn't seem to be helping. The pain is the worst right under my knee. Anyone have any good advice on how to heal this?
