Question regarding Age minimum in Ironman races...I know this isn't the most "appetizing" post, but I'd appreciate an answer ; )

by The X Runner on April 12th, 2009
Hello folks, I wanted to know if there was an age limit minimum for ironman races. I tried to look online, and I have only found a couple of races that say for them its 18 and older, but maybe its not for all of them. I'll be 17 in the summer and I wanted to really do an ironman. If not, I'll do a 1/2 I guess...assuming there is no age restriction there either...

IM training in aerobars?

Hello everyone, How much of one's cycling IM training time should be spent in the aerobars vs upright on the bull-horn bars? Does this vary by workout type (intervals vs long rides, etc)? How much of my training time should be on my racing tri bike vs my winter fixie? These questions have always perplexed me. Thoughts?
