I have a noobish question about headsets: I’m looking at making some upgrades to my mountain bike for the summer season. One of the things I want to do is add front suspension. My current (rigid) fork is threaded. The bike is older but the frame and components are solid. But I back in the late nineties I swapped out the cheapo quill stem for an Ahead set and a more modern binder style stem.
