New Frameset: Opinions Wanted
by Workerant47 on September 10th, 2009
I've recently discovered a crack in the carbon frame of my tri bike so I need to purchase a new frameset. I'm looking to spend about $1800 and have have come across 3 options so far: The Felt B16 2009, the Cervelo P2 2009 and the Specialized Transition Pro 2010. I'm looking more strongly at the Cervelo and Specialized.
Cheap Cycling and general fitness gear

A site called backcountryoutlet.com sponsors a number of sites that all work by offering one item at a time for a steep reduction and selling it until it's gone or they put up another one.

Gear for running in the dark?
by go 'gate 2006 on October 22nd, 2008
Now that the days are getting short, it's becoming dark near the ends of my after-work runs. Eventually it will be dark when I start running. I worry about tripping on something or injuring myself. What specific gear do you suggest for night running? Do any of you use headlamps? Reflective gear (jackets or pants)?

I just got the Adamo saddle for my steed. I'm looking at lots of hours on the trainer for base training this season and decided I wanted to try it for the comfort factor.
Essential gear for an Ironman
by sasquatch on October 3rd, 2008
I am signed up for IM Canada next year and was wondering what gear everyone thinks is essential for an Ironman race(not looking for bare minimum's, but what everyone bring as their essential gear). Even the obvious is nice to hear, just in case it gets overlooked.
Thanks,

noseless saddles
by Toothless on September 18th, 2008
I just switched to a ISM Adamo after trying many other tri saddles (but I use an ergonomic Selle SMP on my road bike) and the result is great for the "undercarriage". Long term blood flow loss to the groin isn't a good thing to accept. My father-in-law is a urologist and here is an article that caused me to make the saddle change besides the occasional numbness.

posted June 10, 2008 by Tribro
I think I blogged about art of tri last fall. They are an organic apparel company focused on created items for Triathletes. Toby just dropped me an email asking if I wanted to offer you guys a discount on their clothing. So, if you've thought about getting some of their shirts or hoodies, use TRIF0608 code at checkout through June to get a 20% discount.
