Aerobic base training in the off-season
by athlete365 on February 7th, 2009
What type of cycling workouts are best for off-season triathlon training (January to March)?
Specifically, for someone who competes in the sprint / Olympic distances.
Should I just be doing longer rides in zone 1 and 2?
Can I begin to do harder intervals this early without burning out before I actually get out on the road in April?
Any help would be appreciated.

Aero Bar Angle
by Workerant47 on November 4th, 2008
Is there a proper angle that you should have you aero bars at? I purchased a used tri bike a while back and over time I've been making tweaks so it fits me well. So far so good except for the aero bars. I have them set fairly level but it almost feels as if they should be angled slightly down. Is there a 'proper angle' or is it more about the individual fit?

First 24 Hour Race Coming Up
by orangedog on October 22nd, 2008
I'm jumping from my first MTB race and Sprint Tri into a 24 Hour race. I'll be reading threads in the Nutrition forum for tips on pre-race and race-day nutrition, but thought I'd open a quick dialogue on training.

Hi, back from biking in Italy
by Ironmom on October 10th, 2008
Hi all, I said I'd post when we returned from our cycling trip. We got back this week from biking in Italy, which was fantastic. For anyone who loves cycling, Italy is just a great country to go to. We had a terrific time biking with the kids, did 165 miles through Tuscany with them on the tandem bikes, totally self-supporting pulling all of our gear.

Cadence New York City
by kscel on October 6th, 2008
Has anyone ever used Cadence in NYC? I'm a pretty good cyclist and average about 23mph but have never been properly taught to ride. Do you think they could help with positioning, form, etc? Worth the money? Has anyone ever done individual coaching or the classes?

Check In
posted August 5, 2008 by Tribro
Time for another check in for me. Since my 70.3 in June I've been trying to get focused on letting my sciatica issue clear and work on my cycling. So, I've been riding pretty much 5-6 days a week and working on core and flexibility to give the sciatica a rest. I love it, been road cycling and mountain biking for the most part. I love the mountain bike.

Hip Flexor Soreness - Overtraining? Or Paying Dues?
by J.Michael on July 24th, 2008
For the past few weeks my right hip flexor has been, well irritated.
It's not always uncomfortable, or sore. It's not usually sore when I'm cycling or running. It's not always sore after running...... I don't get it.
