For the past few weeks my right hip flexor has been, well irritated. It's not always uncomfortable, or sore. It's not usually sore when I'm cycling or running. It's not always sore after running...... I don't get it.

Alright so I have biked for a long time, but never really trained to bike. What type of targets should I be setting for myself. Currently I am hitting the following on my training rides: Shorter than 10 miles: Average about 17.5 - 19.5 mph (Depends on if wifey is tagging along, 17.5 with and 19.5 without) Rides 10 - 20 miles: Average of around 17 - 18

I have a simple A5 Polar HRM that is out of warranty. the screen is missing part of the LED so although the unit works I can't read the heartrate. I have an SRM on my bike, so can get heartrate when I bike but not now while I am running.

I'm pretty new to triathlons; only done two. This summer, however, I'm looking to change that. I'll probably be doing sprint triathlons. I run cross country and track and consider myself pretty decent (currently run 5:10 for the mile, 11:09 for the two mile). I was thinking of adding some biking and swimming on top of running 50-60 mpw.

Entering my second year of tri's and ramping from Sprints/OLY to OLY's/half.... Any tips for training indoors (I have a Kinetic fluid trainer)??? I'm really struggling to stay on the bike for more than 45 min-1hr even though I need to be putting some longer rides in.... tried music, TV, etc but I get so bored all I want to do is stop!

Hey guys, For a belated Christmas present my parents wanted to get me some biking clothes for my summer biking trip. I wanted to get a nice pair of tri-shorts that I can use for everyday biking and that can work in the water. Any suggestions. If possible send me some links. Thanks, Mike
