So while on a ride on Monday my back tire went flat. I took it into a local repair shop to get a new tube put in, one that has the goop (or whatever the green stuff is on the inside to keep it from going flat). They did so. It then rained for a couple of days so my bike sat in the garage and wasn't used. bw

Did anyone notice that the bike course has changed from last year. There is a longer section on World Drive coming out of Disney with a turn around past Hwy 192 and they removed the Seidel Lake Hancock and Porter Road sections. Also instead of one major turn around, there is three. Anyone done this course before have any commments?

I currently have a road bike that has served me well through my many sprint races but really like the tri bikes I have seen. I also am a guy who likes to build things and take pride in completed projects. I'm considering trying to build a tri bike this summer and wondered if any of you had done this before? If so, how successful were you? Was cost comparable to just purchasing a bike? bw

I'm not sure how much this question makes sense, as it depends on the course, but I'm wondering what the average bike speeds are in a given race. More specifically, what is the average speed for the top 20%, middle 60% and bottom 20% of the pack for each of the triatholon distances (Spring, Oly, 1/2IM, and IM).
