Mooloolaba, Australia (March 27, 2008) - The 2008 BG Triathlon World cup series gets underway this Sunday on Australia's scenic Sunshine Coast. More than 150 elite athletes from 38 countries will battle for the first world cup title of the year as they prepare for the Beijing Olympics this August.
ITU Announces 2008 BG Triathlon World Cup Series Calendar

CANADA, Vancouver – The 2008 BG Triathlon World Cup series calendar was released by the International Triathlon Union (ITU) today. In total 15 world cups will be organised for the 2008 season with many of the staple events returning and a number of new events emerging. For the first time the world cup series will visit 15 different countries for the 15 premier events.
Warriner and Gomez Seize Hungary World Cup Titles

TISZAUJVAROS, Hungary - New Zealand’s Samantha Warriner and Spaniard Javier Gomez have won the 2007 Tiszaujvaros BG Triathlon World Cup in Hungary today, the 11th stop of the 2007 BG Triathlon World Cup Series. Both athletes began the day wearing number one on their arm and would have nothing less then top spot on the podium.
