Aero Opinion
by jwillia852 on August 2nd, 2009
I am looking to get some feedback from some of the experts on this site to get an idea of how close/far off I appear to be while in Aero. Although my original intention was to get a tri-related fit shortly after adding the clip ons, I deferred because I found the position quite comfortable and incredibly efficient.

I just think this is funny. Thought you guys might appreciate it. Sad part is it's not at all bad looking.

Mounting clip-on aeros...profile carbon stryke
by grosso27 on February 3rd, 2009
Hello all. I have done a good bit of looking but nothing seems to address this problem I am having.
I have an 06 Specialized Allez Comp Double, stock 31.8 stem, with Ritchey WCS Classic bars. I have just purchased Profile Designs' Carbon Stryke clip-on aeros.
SRAM S60/S80 Aero Wheels
by rhane on January 31st, 2009
So I've never been in a shop that has actually had the SRAM wheels, but everyone is saying they are 100% flashpoints with different stickers on them. If anyone has information on the SRAM wheels, I would appreciate hearing it. If anyone has ridden either the Flashpoints or the SRAM and can attest to their similarity, that would be even better.

Aluminum Aero Wheels
by rhane on January 26th, 2009
Can anyone recommend a set of training/racing aluminum deep-v clinchers? I was looking at the Soul S4.0 - they look nice, but I don't know about build quality, hubs, etc. Can anyone recommend an aero wheelset that won't break the bank or end up breaking on the road due to flimsiness?
good article about aero savings and costs

here's a decent article on aero savings/component (bars, helmet, frame, wheels) and their aero savings/$.bike radar: how aero is aero?

Tri vs. Road Bike. Also, wheels?
by exitcreative on September 8th, 2008
Finished my first sprint distance triathlon this weekend. .33 mile swim, 17 bile bike, 5k run: 1:24.11... and did it on a singlespeed Specialized Langster. I set my seat forward with a reversible Bontrager seatpost and threw some Profile T2+ on the front, which afforded me a pretty decent position. I was very comfortable and averaged 20.48 MPH.
Aero Bars
by jnrice on September 5th, 2008
I have a cheap pair of Oval Al aero bars. I got them before I realized I was a triathlete and not a road racer. The only real problem with them is that if I try to use them for much more than a sprint they KILL my forearms. The bars are fairly flat and I like the position but just leave my arms hurting.
