Half Iron 3 weeks before Full Iron???
by tribeliever on April 8th, 2008
I'm doing IM Coeur d' Alene on June 22nd. Would it be wise or foolish to do the Boise 70.3 exactly 3 weeks before? Some say it would be a perfect way to start your taper, others say it would be too taxing. My fitness level: this will be my first IM that I actually trained for and my weekly training volume will max out at 12-15 hours. Penny for your thoughts :-)
