The first thing you notice when you grab these bars is how light and uber stiff they are. They're not all blingy like clearcoated zipps....no, the Easton Attack bars are more like a skunk works military material/finish that reminded me of an SR71. To give you an example of their weight, a $1200 set of Zipp Vuka Bars weigh 860 Grams. The Easton Attack bars are 1/2 the price (even less if you scour ebay) and 388 grams! Crazy.
Installation was a breeze....I set a half a day aside to install these, new brake levers and Jagwire cables/housings. But surprisingly it was super easy to route the cables for the brakes and the shifters.
These aren't as comfy as the Vision bars they replaced, but there was a tremendous difference in weight. I thought it'd be nominal, but the bike feels completely different. By far the best bike related upgrade I've done.
Awesome!
