Lightweight, vents for the warm weather, stiff carbon sole, comfortable double strap

Vents not ideal in cooler weather
I got these as a Christmas present this year. I figured that if I was going to do Ironman this year, I needed a proper pair of shoes (and not a pair of mountain bike shoes). Read up on all the possibilities out there and these really caught my attention - great reviews, great write ups, and same brand as my mountain bike shoes, which I love. So I tried them on and they were great. the stiff carbon sole has made my pedal stroke much more efficient and the vents are great on warm days. However, being in Canada, cold weather riding isn't ideal in these shoes...your feeit will freeze! The double strap entry and the little tab on the main strap to hold it in place when they are waiting for your feet is pretty cool. They are extremely comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone, pros and newbies alike.
