best in class
ROCKTAPE TOTALLY ROCKS. It won be over even though I was i didn't want to have anything to do with that sort of thing
I'd tried OTHER brands after seeing the olympics. I believe it's called ktape, tech tape or Kenisio tape, something like that. I was really disappointed on many levels:
1. I couldn't get it to stay on for more than 20 minutes (even though I was doing it exactly as instructed), in fact at a recent marathon i saw a number of runners who had samples of the KTape on at the start, by mile 5 I started seeing pile of the Ktape stuff all over the sides of the road. Smiling because I had ROCKTAPE on and KNEW it wasn't gonna come off.
2. with the ktape i couldn't get any advise on how to better address my specific problem instead I was told I could take a class and spend more money to be "certified", and so as not to go on with a long list (because i could)
I was given a sample of ROCKtape about 3-4 months ago and it sat in my gym bag for a few weeks until my knee started aching and swelling again. My girlfriend talked me into using the ROCKtape. HALLALUIAH. I was running around like a gazelle on speed (okay not that fast but you get where I'm goin')
ROCKTAPE is the REAL DEAL. Everyone should have at least one roll in close proximity to them at all times.
Rocktape helped me rock a new PR
After my last big race, my massage therapist asked me if I went hard at all, b/c there were no adhesions on my legs. It's as if I didn't do the race at all. Basically, legs felt supple and great to her, which confirms that Rocktape does indeed work with promoting bloodflow and recovery. I know it works, but it's great to hear my massage therapist confirm this based on how my legs actually feel to her. What better proof is there. Btw, I felt great during the race, where I posted a personal best. Then the day after, I was completely ready to do another effort. Rocktape's really helped with accelerating my recovery and therefore therefore enabled me to push to new limits with my training/racing. Love it.
Great stuff!
I taped up my knee and went for a 30 mile ride, which is a good one for me. I generally have aches and pains in my knee during and after a ride like that. With Rocktape applied per the video instructions on the website, I felt great after. I left it on for a few days to see what happens when wet and if the claim of stickiness held up. It did. I am now using it as a performance enhancer, per the companies claim. I like the idea of better blood flow/reduced fatigue.
amazing stuff
This stuff is unbelievable! From almost head to toe, Rocktape has you covered ( I think it'd look weird on the face ).
I used to have hip flexor problems as well as my pyriformis but I got a chance to try this stuff out at a crit expo one day and it's virtually eliminated all my problems in those areas.
So I ordered some from the website (www.rocktape.com) and noticed that they also have a whole section of videos on DIY taping.
They recommend that you apply it about an hour ahead of racing/working out as that gives the adhesive time to set up, but once it's on there, it's really on.
It lasts from Swim to Run - no joke.

rocktape
Have been using it regularly, and am proud to have my multicolored badges of honor on wherever I go. Going to try it on my limping dog next.
