After about 250 miles on these, I like them more than ever. They actually took me a bit of time to get used to, which surprised me. When I first started using them, it felt as though the shoe was pushing my right heal toward the inside which made me pronate even more than normal. I stuck with them and it wet away after a few runs. I also wore them around work a bit for a few days.
As a nearly 40 year old, I appreciate the extra cushion more than I used to. I also have a pair of Asics 2130's. I like those shoes as well. I wear them for shorter runs and on the treadmill, and use the Kayano's for the 5-6 milers and my long runs.
I just wore them for a half-marathon over the weekend, and they felt great all the way to the end. I would definitely buy them again, but will likely look for a cheaper source. $135 is a bit much! Great shoe... not a great value.
