Still basically a novice on a road bike, I've been through four saddles in the past year trying to find one that doesn't leave me feeling bruised and battered. The Butterfly CrMo is my hands-down winner (call it 4 or 5 Stars). I'd originally been looking at the Butterfly Tri but my local tri shop pointed out that without the tri-bike to go along with, the padding and shaping would be in all the wrong places.
Between the cutaway seat and the right amount of cushioning, I've now accomplished my first half-century ride and only started to squirm in the last 5 or so miles. It's probably a touch heavier than some of the performance saddles that Terry or other makers offer, but if you're a MOP or BOP age-grouper, that extra few grams is worth it for the added comfort during both training and racing.
