The dead-sexy carbon rim of the RD-800 is the perfect complement to our three-flange hub. The rim is not so deep that it becomes special-conditions wheelset - the 38mm profile makes this a wheel that is perfect for any event.

The hub design is not simply a nod to aesthetics. The hidden middle flange moves one third of the spokes out of the wind and allows the rear hub to deliver torque in a straight line to the rim. A very clever forging makes this unusual hub possible; an elegant shape that delivers extra aerodynamic benefit in front and torque stiffness in back. They’re fast, quiet, and unusually comfortable. Just ask someone who’s riding a set.
