Wore mine prolly 50 hrs now, mainly surfing and paddling in it but some ocean swimming and some racing namely Ironman Ca. Oceanside 70.3.
I did manage to get a small hole going by ripping it being to manly on it putting it on once and since have been more gentle putting it on. I'd concur with others who say you need to be gentle as this wetsuit is kinda fragile when putting it on!!!
While surfing I get tumbled in waves closing out a lot so it was bound to happen where my surfboard makes contact with me and every so often a skeg gets you (The fin things) so of course I got sliced once and it ended up putting a 1 in cut in the suit which didn't go all the way thru but essentially has a small laceration started which will go thru eventually.
I'm impressed how fast I am in it. I am such a faster swimmer as opposed to no wet suit or speed suit.
I'd recommend this suit to anyone!!! It's a fast suit but be gentle with it and always rinse it off well and hang dry it. I don't have one of those fancy wetsuit hangers yet just been using a wood hanger and haven't noticed much if any stretch in the tops of the shoulders yet and as I said, I keep mine on the hanger in my shower 24/7 when I'm not wearing it or it isn't in my surf bag on it's way to water but goes right back on the hanger when we get home.
Paid $400 in fall 2010 when it was on clearance. I'd buy same thing again but thinking of going with the "New and Improved" V2 instead as it's only $100 more.
