Pros:
Excellent watch, with loads of features for running and cycling
Cons:
Large watch, for smaller wrists it can be overwhelming.

I've owned this watch for 3+ years now, and it is wonderful. I've bought the Power Meter to go with it, and it's great to ride with. Large display means you can read it even if you need glasses, and the variety of information available is amazing. With the included software, you can download all of your runs/rides to a computer and analyze you workouts/races. The programmable features also lets you set up Intervals, and Heart-Rate based workouts within the watch for use later.

I have replaced the HR Sensor, going with the coded soft strap, it's a little easier on the chest than the larger hard shell strap. Otherwise, I plan on using this HRM for a long time to come.

Pros:
Waterproof (wear it all the time in a race), Speed sensor, cadence sensor(optional) and power meter(optional). Altimeter and many other cool features. 5 different exercise sets you can configure at your own needs. And basic use.
Cons:
This is the second one I own. My last s720i had after a while a problem with the altimeter. Warranty covered it and I got this second one. And sad to tell you but I´m having problems again with the altimeter with this one after 2 years of having it. Everything else works great.

Very reliable monitor. One of the things I love is the fact that I can wear it during my swims. (I know many people don´t follow HR in the pool but my training plan requires me too). Looking at what the other guy wrote I can´t finish to understand how someone can say this monitor looks cheap. NOT AT ALL! I love the inox facing and think it´s better than the plastic one in the 625.

If you are planning on buying the 625 for the pedometer I would really give it a second thought. I have learned that you have to be consistent with your strides (length) in order to have the thing work correctly so i would not trust it that much. You are good with a s720i!!!! But if you a are a number freak then maybe you would be better off with a garmin which you could really trust since it is GPS based.

Pros:
Lots of info in a small, comfortable package. Logs my miles for me and downloads keeps me on task during tempo rides and drills.
Cons:
A little cheap looking. The IR interface is very picky. I ended up buying Polar's interface to alleviate the hassle of trying to get mine to work consistantly. NO PEDOMETER FUNCTION.

While I do like the 720i, had I known I could get the same bike functionality with the pedometer as in the 625x I would have gone that route. Now my 720's for sale and I'm buying the 625, it looks better any how.
