This is an excellent set of race wheels. They are extremely light and fast. I had a set of Zipp 404's on order but cancelled it when I found out that Bontrager offered a 5 year warranty on all Bontrager components, including their wheels. Trek wind tunnel data shows that these wheels are faster than the Zipps too...but what else would you expect them to say.
These wheels do double duty on my road bike, hence the reluctance to go with the 65mm rim or a disc. In retrospect, I probably could have gotten away with the 65's.
As for performance, well, these wheels passed a lot of Zipps last summer. But that could just be the engine...I think it's got a Hemi! :0)
