Pros:
Very easy to setup and get running. Great features for data recording etc. Very consistent measurements. Easy to read display. Easy to mount. Easy to download info into computer.
Cons:
Software isn't as advanced as it should be. Harder to manipulate data once collected. The setup menu of the device is a bit cryptic to follow and work with, but isn't that necessary.

I just got the device about 2 months ago, it was a piece of cake to get it running and start collecting data. Service and support has been great from Saris, and they have an excellent website for learning about training with power etc. It's excellent to train with power - I've already identified many aspects of my riding that can be improved by changing my training in response to my data. Only a few things that are troublesome:
1.) the software seems a little incomplete - I ultimately bought WKO+ to analyze my data
2.) the customizable display isn't as flexible as it seems and I haven't managed to get the unit to do something it clearly stats that it should do in the manual (Switch Speed and Cadence display lines).
3.) the built in cadence feature gives really bizarre readings at low power with mid to high cadence. If I'm free spinning, maybe only connecting to the drive every now and then because I'm backing off, the cadence will read suddenly bizarre readings like 77, 78, 145, 182, 79,81 etc. They do sell an optional cadence sensor,

These issues however are rather trivial when compared to the overall use of the unit. I really like it and can't imagine going back to riding without it.
