I bought the 07 model that has the flying ace paint job. man, I love this bike. My first road bike was a Pilot 1.0 and the difference between the two is night and day. The only upgrade I've made is switched out the rear cassette for a shimano 105 11/39 since for some reason it came with a 12/25. The only thing I really want to do is get an Ultegra crank and upgrade the wheels. But out the door I couldnt have asked for a better bike.

Pros:
Fast bike. Trek R &D got this one right. Made for triathletes.
Cons:
Switched out Crankset to Ultegra. OEM wheels good for training, not for racing. Internal cable routing can be a pain for the LBS.

I have the chi red version. Trek did their homework on this bike. Made with the triathlete in mind (not like their old TT bike). I sprung for the Aeolus 5.0 clinchers (LBS deal). Matches the bike perfectly (not that it really matters). Go and buy one...

Pros:
Very Stiff, Light. Unlike other carbon models I tried
Cons:
Stem may be a little oo short on the stock model

This bike Rocks. Got this from Helens Cycle in Manhattan Beach for a killer deal.

It climbs and decends up and down steep hills not problem.
Accelerates like a ferrari. Does not have that "dead feel" that I have experienced before on a Carbon frame
