The 2008 Quintana Roo Caliente Carbon Tri Bike is one incredibly fast bike that we could have just named “hot”, but using the Spanish translation just made it sound even more intense. After you see the Caliente’s incredible new paint scheme, witness the frame shaping inspired by the Lucero, feel its blazing performance and burn through your PR’s, we think you’ll see that it lives up to its name no matter the language. System integration of carbon aero seatpost and Real Design Aero HP fork only boosts the Caliente’s resume. The Caliente’s new handcrafted full carbon frame is leaps and bounds ahead, in both ability and head-turning characteristics, than any other bike in its class.
I purchased this bike midway through last season. It is my first tribike, and i couldnt be happier. The bike handles well and is very light. It also gets a lot of looks.
This is my first full carbon tri bike that I've had for almost 2 months now. I feel like I'm cheating because this bike is so light and fast. It came stock with Real Design carbon racing wheels (same as FlashPoint wheels) so I just bought some Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels to use for training. I'm looking forward to a great season on this bike.
