Biography

I've been doing tris since 2004, coming from a running background. I jumped in with both feet, and soon did my first half IM and signed up for my first full. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I lived and loved it! Since then I've worked to not just complete races but to also improve my own personal records. So far so good, and in 2007 I PR'ed at the IM and half IM distances by over an hour and twenty minutes at each!

In 2008 I did a 50k trail race in January, and then the Muskoka 70.3 race in September. Oh yeah, Muskoka was my honeymoon race (with mikedonia) -- and it was a blast!

I train with Power on the bike, and use it to get the most of my limited time while I'm in grad school part time. I work with MarkyV to keep up my passion for the sport while getting stronger.
