Oregon Ironman???

Has anyone else heard this might be a possibility? How sweet would a Bend area full Ironman be.

I've heard Bend is awesome. I'd sign up. I hope it is a Spring or late, late Fall race. Summer sucks to train here in Dallas.

I would hope for late fall. It is impossible to train on the bike in South Dakota in the winter for spring and early summer tri's.

I don't think this is a possibility but another good Oregon Location would be the Columbia River Gorge.

Bend would be a great location. I know the community would embrace the event and the athletes. I hope the WTC has not already ruled this out.

An IM is in my long term goals, and my parents now live in Bend. Would LOVE to see this be true.
