Count me in

posted on July 29, 2008 by jdcox1999

So I just completed my first triathlon.  Of course it was great.  I loved every minute of it.  I was definately strongest in the swim, but really enjoyed the bike and run.  I started running in March, only because I wanted to do Tri's.  I never attempted a tri before because of the run.  So I signed for a half marathon and started running.  Now I love it, and am so glad I started.  I am running a full marathon in Oct, and will spend the winter training and focus on doing some Olympic distance Tri's next summer.  I can't wait.  Right now I definately see lots of areas I can improve in, and am hoping to share/learn some of that here.  If any of the veterans have advice from lessons learned when you were in my position, let me know.  Thanks to all my fellow triathletes for welcoming those of us who are new to the sport with open arms.

Not competitively. I just swam a lot for training purposes when I was in the Navy.

Or if you arent trained for the the HIM distance yet then theres Superseal (an Olympic).

I'll be there for Superfrog in 09 for certain.
