First week of training in the books!!!!
Alright, First week of training is over!!! Pretty good week of training. I logged in about 5 and a half hours total. I look back and did about 44 percent on the bike. I know i have to get better at splitting time between all of them. I love to bike though! I guess when I get tired, I head back to the bike to revive myself. This week, I am going to try to get 50 percent of my time on foot. I know this is going to be hard because when I ride, I like to at least get an hour ride in at a time. I think I should be able to do this though.
Weight control is still an issue this week. I did not loose any pounds. I think I am still sitting at 190 lbs. (I love butterfingers!!!!!!!!). Losing weight is going to be harder than I thought. I am not as young as I used to. The weight used to just come off if I thought about losing weight.
Well, till next week, I hope the weight will be 3 pounds lighter when I write again!!!
good week. thanks for keeping us posted. ya, butterfingers are good, so are m&m's :) if you cut back a bit and keep to training the weight will come off, however don't just look at the scale. You may put on muscle and lose fat but maintain the same weight. objective is better health and fitness and the weight will take care of itself...
Congrats on your first week. And don't worry about the weight. Triathlon is all about developing and improving over time, the weight loss will come. And yes, butterfingers are good. Butterfingers after a long brick, even better.
thanks for the goodadvise. I know I don't need to look at the scales all the time. Butterfingers are good, but not 3 in about an hour!!!
