Congratulations - You're closer to immortality than most of us.
Congratulations man. I can only dream of experiencing that (for now ;) )
Bryan,
Excellent job on your first Kona!! I was looking for you to go by on the bike. Nice little chat on the way up to Hawi. It was pretty windy so I had a tough time hearing you. I didn't go to the carbo dinner. I ended up going out to Jameson's with some friends. Better food :)
I had some mechanical issues on the bike. Something was clicking and I couldn't find out what it was. I was pretty pissed off when I hit the run and so I just went for it. I ended up salvaging my race.
I went to a bunch of post race parties last night.Met a lot of cool folks. Fun time. Macca was trashed. It was hilarious
You guys have a good time in Maui. We are leaving today : (
I can't describe how this particular IM felt so different than the others I have followed.
Knowing I had 3 trifuelers to follow and looking the great times you guys did was awsome.
But seeing Chris on the lead for so long was so exciting. I felt (because of being tribro's bro) like it was another part of Trifuel racing there and being on the lead.
I felt so identified with this particular championship you couldn't believe.
Congratulations on a great race and thanks for letting all of us follow your journey and be a part of it since your IM Arizona training.
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
Congratulations man. I can only dream of experiencing that (for now ;) )
My sentiments exactly! :D
Pain is the sensation of weakness leaving the body!
Great job in the race!
I second Tikal Dog's comment - I've only run one tri, but being this connected to Kona because of Trifuel postings and what not really made it an inspiration. Thanks for taking the time to post.

To tri or not to tri - that's not a question at all!
Congratulations man! Enjoy the time off...
Congratulations!

Wow. What an amazing day. By far the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life. The course is very difficult, the winds up towards Hawi were unbelievable, the heat and sun relentless, and pro's blowing up all over the course! I passed Joann Zieger throwing up at an aid station at mile 4, I ran past Desiree walking along the Queen K in tears, I pased a walking Rutger Beke in the Energy Lab. Incredible.
I have so many stories to tell and will be posting my race report next weekend when we get home as I won't have any computer access until then. My wife deserves my undivided attention in Maui. It was awsome to meet Kyliee adn Mike and so cool to meet Rob "54min swim split" Chance! He had a stellar race! I just want to thank all of you for you kind word of support I see in all the Kona threads and it has been a true joy to share this with all of you.
