WHAT! thats about 20 miles from my house I was going to go to that but I decided to sleep in. I met bobby J at the phildelphia livestrong challenge and he was so cool, I really wish I could've got my hands on some of that stuff.

Yeah, that would be a nice set. it's a shame that the jersey would probably just prove how NOT lean I am. And that frame would show how NOT fast I am.
I bought an old used CSC jersey.

I was at the swap meet at the velodrome in T-Town, PA. Found a few deals on little things that I needed and then found a rack of old jerseys, sitting by a box of books. Shoes and travel bags scattered around, it looked like any other setup. Except for the guy in the Riis Cycling fleece selling everything.
Julich was just hanging out selling some old equipment, trophies and race numbers to benefit a charity he's involved with. Seeing an athlete that has reached such a high level in his sport being so approachable and giving real information to a young racer looking for advice is one of the reasons I love this sport.
I'm going out today to find a frame for the used, autographed CSC jersey I picked up.
