3rd in my age group, 11/55 swim - 4/55 bike - 2/55 run.

I've never placed in a race before, so this was great!

However I must say that what is advertised as a "flat and fast" bike course is certianly not flat at all.

Anybody else do this race?

Congratulations man!
podium spots are great aren't they? I have only managed to place twice. (too hard) But when it happens its an amazing feeling.

Congratulations!!!!! I wish I stayed around for the awards. I finished 9/22 in my AG and shaved 7 minutes off last years time. The bike course wasn't totally flat, but it was much better than last year's. Congrats again on your great finish - any other races in the area for you?

7 minutes! That's a healthy chunk, way to go!

No more races around here, it's off to IMFL next. But running season should be a blast. Run the Reagan, ING, who knows what else.

Good luck in FL. I'll be at the Reagan (it's 5 minutes from home), and the ING as well.
