I've lurked for a couple of weeks and finally came out of the woods to post once or twice, so I thought it was time to introduce myself.

I'm a thirty-something age grouper who works too much at a desk(patent lawyer) and who tries to spend time with his family. I have a wife, four boys, a dog, fish, and hermit crabs (the dog, fish, and crabs are adopted). My wife is a swimmer and got us doing triathlons a few years ago to lose some baby weight (I tend to gain weight when she is pregnant).

I'm certainly not a threat to anyone's finishing place, but have gotten to the point where I finish a sprint in an hour and a half and an olympic in three hours. In the last three seasons, I have finished three sprints and three olympics. On the horizon, my brother is trying to talk me into doing the Vikingman HIM next year with him. We'll see. My initial goal would be to finish, but if training went well, I would like to do it in 6 hours.

Anyway, love the site and thanks for all of the tips!

Welcome Capt! :)

Some of the most fun trails I have ran were in Utah. Some beautiful areas!
