Hello Everyone!!

New to the forums here. I have been browsing a little bit and see quite a few people from the great state of Wisconsin.

I am just getting into the tri scene here. Amazing how popular it is given the rather short training season.

I'm pretty young at 23 and realize I have a lot to learn but have been picking it up quickly. Running and biking have come fairly easily...swimming still needs some work.

I'll be running the Chicago Marathon this weekend as I'm sure a few others will be too considering the field of 45k. Good luck to everyone!

I am always looking for a training partner so feel free to hit me up sometime.

If you can find a way to quickly get really good at swimming, you could make a lot of money selling the secret. Enjoy the marathon.

Welcome!
There are a lot of good races in the area.
Good luck at Chicago - I'll be doing The Lakefront marathon this weekend - tho not quite as crowded as Chicago!

Hey RV, cool to see you are practically my neighbor. Good luck at Lakefront....not really looking forward to the crowd this weekend but that's all part of it.

I did the dousman duathlon a couple weeks ago, that's right in your backyard it looks like.

How'd Dousman go?
I considered doing that one, as it is pretty close, but wasn't able to work it out schedulewise - translation - too many home projects to catch up on after IM!

I ended up taking 16th. My bike was a little slow but I was happy with the result. There were around 800 finishers which was an awesome improvement in the 450 from last years race.
